Science Tours

Our science tours venture to a range of destinations in Africa and Latin America which offer a biodiversity unrivalled elsewhere on our planet.

Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands are undoubtedly one of the most fascinating of all our destinations. Tours can be arranged which first explore the Amazon rain forest prior to travelling to the Galapagos, or alternatively you can spend the whole trip going from island to island.  Madagascar is also a firm favourite, with its unique wildlife including lemurs and chameleon, spectacular scenery and pristine beaches. Costa Rica offers rain forests and coasts, volcanoes and hot springs and is generally the best value of all our long haul destinations. For those looking for a cosmopolitan experience to complement the study aspect, nowhere beats Brazil with its vibrant cities and famous beaches.

    Exploring the Galapagos

For students of biology there are few places that can rival the Galapagos for the sheer diversity and uniqueness of its wildlife. This tour visits the two larger islands of Santa Cruz and Isabella and offers students the opportunity to engage in voluntary work with a Giant Tortoise conservancy project.
